At ORINGEN 2010 great mobile activity with m4action was enjoyed by roughly 70 young people during the activity day at the world’s largest orienteering competition. In the morning about 20 teams competed in the qualification heats. Based on the results 6 teams were chosen by age to compete in the finals. A special star orienteering course was developed with the mLearn2go tool for the final. The winning team from Målilla Orienteering club won first prize. Stay tuned for more information.

Daniel Spikol our technology person has been traveling in Taiwan over the last weeks introducing mLearn2go to different Universities and introducing them to the sport of orienteering! From my talks about mobile learning technologies in Taiwan, orienteering is new sport for them. Exercise is a major part of Taiwanese life, you can go to local parks in morning and see all generations exercising. But, trail running let alone orienteering is something new. Stay tuned for some collaboration between m4action and Taiwan.
